not so sure. Analysts have simply discounted the earnings to $100m earnings by 2026 which is 50% of pre Covid. Not incredible. They’ll need to grow other premium wines to justify a much higher share price. Whilst we hold this, those results to me were not rosey outside penfolds and now China penfolds. Should demerge penfolds in my view.
Red wine saturated in China from other countries too. Times have changed.
at $12.50, better value elsewhere hence I lightened my position here.
