I will strip it back for you. I believe that FA places a value on a share. This value is often independent of the share price at the time. Thus if the fundamentals of a share improve and the share price declines then i'm more inclined to be happy than disappointed.

I expect that at some point in time that each company will be valued at their true worth. Dot com stocks are a great example with "price" and the "market" giving them a certain value completely at odds with my value at the time.

Is it the fault of fundamental analysis that there are a million mug punters in penny stocks who each believe it's the next 100 bagger?
