Well, D day is approaching or should I say "the big A day for some" is approaching. BNP have until Thursday this week to call a meeting to vote out 3 of the board members. The meeting must be held by 18 April. If the board don't hand in their dunces hats before then, it should be a ripper of a meeting. I can't see why BNP are taking so long to effect the spill, unless there is a bit of back-door dealing still going on about the final composition of the proposed new board. I would think the other major shareholders have agreed to BNP's strategy but probably not to keen about for a situation where BNP have all the aces.
