    Hi, I’m no expert, just looked at a few things I thought weird to educate myself a while back - like the .655 type trades.

    As far as I can tell the midpoint technically can be anything. By that I mean it could be the average between ANY two amounts representing the highest bid and lowest ask prices.

    Those prices are determined from the NBBO - the best bid & ask prices for a stock on the Australian markets.

    But as we see on a lot of stocks there usually isn’t much wiggle room between the two variables. So you end up with the triple digit result.

    Google ‘asx centre point’ or ‘asx midpoint averaging’ or nbbo midpoint for a much better explanation than mine!

    Btw, I do think there is plenty of market manipulation on the asx, and asic are under-resourced and perhaps even hesitant to take action.

    I can see little ‘normal market’ reasoning for this stock to be sitting where it is, or for so why there are so many sellers of such good potential stock, or why they are caving so easily to cheap bids.
