With the limited drilling focused on resource expansion in the last drilling Phase IV round (only about 1500 metres), this is a fabulous result.
We now have a clear indication of how consistently successful drilling at Sorby Hills is and how easy it is to increase the mine size and mining reserve inventory.
Phase V could very likely deliver us a DOUBLING of the mining reserve inventory and mine size (throughput) and a commensurate increase in the global MRE.
How? We have an Initial mine size of 15MT now with an added 4 MT Reserve from 1500 m drilling. An additional amount potentially up to 16 MT Reserve extra (and a commensurate increase in global MRE) from the next Phase V 6000m which is targeted only for this purpose is a walk in the park.
Bigger Mine. Longer Life.
