Grabeach, they are not required to do anything more than monthly.  I guess if you want to track these things on a day to day basis then more regular updates would be helpful and definitely before the 14th.  I look at this thing as a 3 or 4 year investment so i don't track it daily.  I was happier that with the share price at an all-time low they did attempt to let anyone selling know that the NTA had recovered.  I do think these guys are some of the best at communicating with shareholders, in October they were in front of shareholders with a roadshow.   I'm just disappointed I didn't get my order filled and that I bid too cheap and got no more stock.  If you take the NTA and multiply it by the index return you get the rough NTA anyway for all the LICs.  The real NTA is probably $1.02 with AXL in there anyway. I am even tempted to go back to CDM but I am still not happy with all those big positions they take and I'm burnt by the money I already lost. I think you will look back at this time in the market and think it was good buying, but what do I know, probably not that much.
