VinP, I'm aware of the ASX requirements, having first invested in LICs in 1993. I also use percentage change in index to approximate current NTA. Found this works fine for index hugging large caps, not so good at the smaller end, where discrepancies can be quite large. I'm in two minds about reporting NTAs on a more regular basis. Handy, as you say, to avoid selling when NTA has recovered more than the index, but can make it harder to pick up bargains, witness the 3c jump on Friday. Whatever they choose, I'd just prefer it to be consistent. Timely that you mention a three or four year investment time frame, as it is three and a half years since the IPO. At some point one has to decide whether under performance is bad luck or whether they've had their day in the sun. Overall I would say the market is 'fair' rather than 'good' buying at the moment, though as I'm retired I have less need to jump in. Besides, my opinion is likely no better than yours, or anybody else for that matter!
