@chopstah looks like the drill core recovery was poor in the first 15 m of the weathered, so they had to use RC chip. Just points to the weathered probably being already quite fine in-situ (fines get caught in the diamond drill fluid?). They might get more opportunity to test the weathered material coarser off of the AC drilling underway.
