So the metallurgy appears OK! No surprises for me but hopefully it satisfies the (now silent), nay-sayers on this forum. One more potential doubt ticked-off.
Looking at the section on page 4 of the release and the 3D on page 3 gives one some feel for the current size this early into the game.
You can see from the section that the projected pit(s) could potentially optimise down to an effective 100m depth from surface. That's a pretty deep hole. The high grade from surface on these copper widths seemingly supports it. You need sufficient tons and good grade to do that.
Eyeballing the widths and grades on the section on page 4, one could speculate it could be comfortably 5-6% ++ average copper grade within the pit(s). That it may support open-pit mining to 100m+ before going underground (albeit simply driving into the hillside via an existing underground access), at similar grades is another clear clue as to the potential here.
Given this remains open along strike and at depth at high grades and only 700m of 18km has been tested along strike and just 250m at depth in just one concentrated zone drilled so far, this is by the day looking more and more interesting.
