This should place you with a unique set of knowledge that leaves the rest of us as philistines. I am certainly in that category. I for one would be grateful for any snippets of basic mining knowhow relevant to Talga that you could share. For example, what does Figure 2 in the ASX release tell you?

I agree with your comments on LKAB.at the time when LKAB pulled out, it seemed to us with our limited knowledge, that they had been playing Talga for the fool. Now in hindsight perhaps that was not the case.

This was about the time that LKAB would have been receiving early information on the likely possibility of rare earths on their tract and that looked like occupying all their attention for some years to come. Also, at the time Talga was mostly talking about open pit mining which seems fairly primitive in relation to LKAB's underground expertise.

Another thought is that if/when Talga goes underground then it would be in the interests of neither party to start a wages bidding war for underground miners.
