Robert Edel (Global Head of Mining) wrote a very good article on the impact of these changes. As a well respected lawyer specializing in international mining law it's worth reading.

"If these amendments are actually carried into operation it is unlikely that Tanzania will be able to attract any significant investment in mining or the oil and gas industries in the foreseeable future. In our opinion, it is likely that many existing investors in the resources industry is will have little alternative but to seek to withdraw their investments."

You can't avoid the impact of this situation and Volt is the weakest kitten in the litter. $1 million of debt is not sufficient to weather this storm and the share price isnt reflecting the reality we are seeing in all the other ASX stocks in Tanzania. It's only a matter of time in my opinion before the market cap has to recalibrate to be closer to WKT or GPX. Somewhere around one cent ($10 million market cap) would be a very good outcome considering the landscape and risks.
