Huge News for CMD!
Massive milestone reached — the final arbitration hearing against the Government of Ghana will take place at the Peace Palace in The Hague from 15-19 June 2026. This is a huge deal.
The Peace Palace is the home of the International Court of Justice and a symbol of global justice. Having the hearing at such a prestigious venue highlights the seriousness and credibility of the case.
With the reconstituted Tribunal and the replacement of Ghana’s arbitrator, this process is now firmly back on track. The claim for ~USD 277 million (~AUD 443 million) is significant, and we now have firm dates to look forward to.
