They get a commission from the businesses that offer their service. Walking through a Westfield Shopping Centre yesterday, I took notice of so many shops that were signed up with them. Many online retailers are also using Afterpay.
I realise that the ASX as a whole is suffering today but I am confident in holding on to Afterpay. It's not going to buckle under.
