P.S. where a supergene zone exists over a primary ore body they can be very useful in greenfields exploration as they tend in many cases to be distributed laterally from the primary ore zone as mainholm has mentioned (they sometimes have a flat mushroom shape with respect to the primary ore body if it is more steeply dipping). Wide spaced shallow drilling will often pick them up and the explorer can work back to find the primary ore. In your case you are already exploring the primary ore and will be working in reverse to try and see if there is an associated supergene zone. Good luck. esh
