This interview is quite a promotion ! If the resource is there any competent geologist would be able to find it eventually .I consider the Porgera a theme is perhaps being a trifle overplayed .If you listen carefully to P's speech you will see what I mean!
IMO the big fund investor thing is a bit overplayed too.The big funds may ,on occasions,also get things wrong .Unlike the poor old retail investor they can stand such loses .I don't reckon IDC rates as one of their bigger investments either .
If the major players do stay in they will make sure that its on their terms ;the true believer's equity will continue to be eroded .
IDC will have to raise more cash soon .It won't be on their terms either .IN this market things are looking decidedly bleak .
I guess the only souls who are protected from loses are those who are on extravagant salaries ,whoever they are!
i guess that's why they call the investments 'specs'.
