I tend to agree with your comment that Mt Kare would not be one of the 'big funds' "big" investments.
After all, there are bigger projects out there in the world to invest in.
What I do find interesting is that four or five separate funds have invested in the project and have, apparently, affirmed their ongoing support.
Looking at the more Darwinian elements of investing in listed companies as a retail investor I certainly recognize the need and obligation I owe to my self to adapt and devise a strategy so as to maintain my relative position.
This is some thing I can not help but feel many do not full appreciate in their own circumstance.
In my case I would not complain about "fairness" as an issue long as there is full and frank disclosure (volenti non fit injuria)
