That video by Martin Stein verges on misleading. He says, more than once, the Sodium alumina battery doesn't use any of those expensive metals. Graphite, Cu*, Lithium. Cobalt. For God's sake it uses quite a bit of the Ni Sulphate (I think).
Now, I'm more than happy to say it's cheaper and quantify the cost saying to on significant figure (the nearest 10%) but please cherish your/ourcredibility.
All IMVHO.
* Copper ain't that expensive (yet). Of the metals he talks about (+Ni). I'm in all but graphite and have been in and out of that.
