so much rubbish talked about the departure of Rantall.
If the reason was potential conflict of interest then the company would have said so. That would have been known from the outset anyway, so why appoint him in the first place?
And you can forget the official 'explanation' because that's the standard bullshit line.
As far as I can see Rantall never did anything much, in fact you'd have to ask why micro-companies need independent chairmen at all. The CEO and chairman can be the same person. Except sometimes the chairman is used as a flagship member to improve the appearance of the company and it's usually a waste of time anyway because a good many such appointments elect has-beens.
More likely that the views of Rantall and others began to diverge so he was elbowed out of the way.
Canion seems to be a bit more of a spruiker so IAM might benefit in the short term with his appontment - then you can bail out. LOL.
