Been a while since I posted here, in fact over a year when it was SRT, still holding, very happily stashed in bottom drawer. Back then the questions here were whether they were ever going to relist. The company has come an incredibly long way, even with the ups and downs. Unfortunately can't say the same for this thred, which is now a joke, which is why I tend to avoid.
Everything I posted 12m ago regarding the industry still rings true, probably more so. ASIC are running rampant with licensees, to improve their compliance, margins are tightening for many, there is a massive need for this service, and as for competitors. If you call Paraplanning companies with 5-6 employees "competition" then well and good, Mark doesn't. Bit like calling the corner hamburger store a competitor to McDonalds, but ok. There is no-one doing this with any scale whatsoever, the full offer of back-office processes, at that cost, in short time frame at high quality.
I have been keeping a close eye on IAM progress, and have several close contacts who have been IAM clients for some time. They can't speak highly enough of the service, and having seen the portal in action personally, I can see why they are slightly concerned with the expected traffic that will use it, as they don't particularly want to share with the rest of the industry, will not diminish their current excellent delivery, cost and quality.
It really is laughable those writing the company off and questioning the integrity and professionalism of management, many I suggest know nothing about the FP industry and the opportunity before them. I hear nothing but excellent reports from dealing with Mark and his team. They know what they're doing, they run a tight ship, and sure we will see in the quarterly that spending kept in check, which gives Mark the time and flexibility to get it right first, before revealing to the remaining 18,000 practices that don't use them (less 24).
Reading this thred, anyone would think they had made a loss, rather than 60% growth QonQ and put on 50 staff to meet demand. I don't get the fixation with M4 for shareholders either, as even if they get to half that, I'm going to be very, very happy indeed with my shareholding. This is a genuine business.
Anyway good luck to all, even the non-holders that seem to spend a lot of time here, I'm sure this will be a very different atmosphere in 6-12m time.
