You wouldn't be confident they'd even be bit, and that's not smart if you're trying to free up cash quickly by liquidating a large holding. Dumping a large parcel into several bid lines would be the way to go (if in early and in profit), it can be absorbed, chatter happens, and people can get in cheaper if there's no true bear FA signal (sound familiar? ha ha) - placing these here, now, only makes sense if you're buying your own caps to accumulate, create the 'line wipe' impression, and split sales over the resulting rising SP.

Like Architect said - it's silly way to do it if it's legit selling. And it's only briefly clever if it's capping/accum/etc - won't work every time.
