It goes to show who was doing the majority of the trading. Most of the big players are closed over Christmas for their yearly shutdown. Should pick up around after the 10th Jan when people get back from holidays. Just the number of trades per day vs the volume tells me its retailers and the usual day traders doing most of the buying selling at the moment.
