I reckon another month or two or even three of waiting here, like a plane grounded on the runway in bad weather waiting to take off. The passengers are indeed frustrated. I reckon your wish of it hitting 0.8c will happen.

I suppose we'll have to read smug ' I told you so' posts from the joyous; eg, Inbuilt and LawlessLantern for the time being, with little we can retort except calls for patience.

If I understand the stock/company correctly, the waiting period is perfectly valid and to be expected. I actually don't expect the air hostesses (PC and MF) to shuffle up and down the aisle supplying water and nuts to pacify us until take off.

Although I wouldn't mind being served an honest cup of tea.

I do feel like a bit of a frustrated gormless goon at the moment, but I'm determined to be a good boy, read the safety instructions and wait for take off.

I wonder if the AGM could serve as a subversive call to the dot joiners to 'fasten your seatbelts'....?
