It's an interesting question, sure. How many thousands could they have saved via tax offsets? What do you think the reason is for the non-claim/classification as R&D spend? You think they aren't updating the software or they don't know how to do accounting?
I do find it a bit hard to believe that this "tax offset" is the reason you chose not to invest. You have been downramping since early 2017 and have never mentioned it.
