VMS copper and gold brings a new category of mineralising event into the fold. There are many examples of excellent vms cu/au deposits in Aust that have been mined or are still being mined. The most exciting one of late has been Sandfire's DeGrussa deposit in WA, which is now depleted. It was a very high grade deposit, rich even. It would be a monstrous surprise though for Halls Reward to emulate DeGrussa.
It had direct shipping ore, as did Halls Reward - chalcocite I guess. That is something in common though, as well.
