No, it wasn't, not by any stretch of the imagination.
When the vote to merge was taken in May this year there would have been something like 16,000 holders of SLR shares but only 223 of them voted against the merger. Despite all the shared angst on hc about the merits of the merger the overwhelming sentiment of SLR holders was near-complete indifference.
Even if you focus on the minute number of shareholders who were motivated to vote, less than 21% of them voted against the merger. And of the votes recorded less than 4% of them were against the merger. Clearly, far from decent.
If the regulars on the RED threads on hc want to engage in cluster-whining by all means whine away. Just don't rewrite history.
