One simple fact we can all agree on is on the 25 June 1950 NORTH KOREA invaded South Korea, supported by the Soviet Union and Russia.

Within 2 months they had the south on the ropes trapped in an enclave, that's when the UN came to the rescue.

Of course you conveniently over look all the murder and mayhem perpetrated by the secret police etc on all the south Koreans up to that point.

Agree general McArthur went too far, in the eventual invasion, he was out of control by then on his power trip.

Just wanted to add balance to your unbalanced historical analysis and views on Nuclear arms, 3 generations of dictators versus democracy in the south, I suggest you stick to share analysis which I hope you are better at!! ( entitled to your view though as we live in a democracy unlike some)
