The problem I have always seen with Dr. Giles is that while he is a technical expert, he has relied too much on the advice of the other management. I have no doubt he trusted the other directors and Richards when they told him what a great deal they were about to enter into with Gupta. It sounded great in the original ASX release, until I read the fine print. Eventually Dr. Giles read the fine print too.
