Is it just me or does this not make sense.
Wong sold a little over $2m worth of shares at the end of October and said that he'd informed the Chairman of his intention to sell in July.
He still holds over $5m worth of Sirtex at today's price.
The delta between the $28.50/share he got in October and today's price of $15.84 is a little under $1m.
Do we really think he threw away his career for $1m..?
Granted if* he was acting on non-public information he couldn't know where the price would end up but even assuming he thought it might plummet 50% it still feels like there's something missing from this story.
*- and that's still a big if.
Is it just me or does this not make sense. Wong sold a little...
