Yeah correct. Make profitable trades use the tax losses banked up then start paying dividends. Could be a while! There have to be other options other than share buyback though to help increase share price as that has been in place for many years without too much closing of the gap between share price and NTA. Has any company ever trialled a share buyback where shares are bought plus 5%? This way, the company is still making money as they are buying shares at less than NTA and the shareholders who sell receive a bonus for selling.
