Especially when you recall the main reason for first moving out of the Oz market and into the Canadian market was because the Canadians were 20 years ahead and the market much more developed. We then had to become a LIC because it was easier to have a diversified portfolio across segments and regions even those without legalisation. Now we’re investing in a Bondi self indulged cafe owner who has a limited local cult following in a competitive healthfood segment with hemp-seed as a delineator???
If they can’t show decent profits and growth i’d Much prefer management sit on the $1m and look for more opportunities in the US and Canadian markets!
