Definitely agreed. It's a strong result and the shorters should be concerned.
The only question mark for me is, whilst there is a strong EPV and good pipeline, the amount of earnings OBL will ultimately get with the new fund model. Obviously, even if cases are won, a certain percentage will get paid to the external investors. It's not easy to calculate the return to OBL and neither EPV nor IEV (their new metric) is net of the amount due to external investors.
IMO, the management should also provide estimated gross return figures after external investors are taken out (even if only on a percentage basis for each fund).
