Yea ok i'll wear that re ALF comment you make - just checked, they got to about 37% at a spike in 2009, Damn they must have blown up something (pretty funny times back in 2009 though, double dip GFC if you remember that), although around that 37% it was mostly about 25% discount if you look at the graph, and even the 25% only lasted for about 4-5months before going back to 20% then less, and eventually positive/premium to NTA after that. ALF is so hated right now, and it's not even 20% discount. I'd guess ALF is more hated than NSC, NCC, NAC if you read the HC boards.
I suppose i'm at a slight advantage as i know many of these LIC managers fairly well and know what they're capable of so happy to back NSC. For now...
