On 13 Jan and 15 Jul 2022 CDM announced 4 cent fully franked dividends and have boasted about their dividend of 8 cents fully franked. CDM has the cash and franking credits to continue this but are silent on any future dividend. This inconsistency is not good.
CDM are very vague on what they do and only highlight successes. The investment in TMC was an example of outstanding success. 10x plus growth and a suggestion it would be split off to a separate comany. Great news, until TMC tanked and CDM sold out which was prudent. I think CDM Annual Report boasted about making a significant (2x?) on TMC. I note SYRah is in top 20. A future TMC? I agree CDM should be more up front about the % of it's top 20 investments. Perhaps that might cause embarrasment?
I await an announcement of the next dividend and an opportunity to sell.
