Comparison of ex divvy stocks and how they can move ex div. CDM giving 4cps FFR div dropped at one stage 5 cps and now is only down 2c. HVN went ex 20 cps FFR and is down 28 cps and GVF which went ex 3.3 cps is only down 2.2 cps. Depends on the mood of the market and the confidence in the particular stock to regain their footing. You can’t reliably say that a coy ex div is going to regain its former SP almost immediately. It may or may not… all got to do with sentiment, market conditions and consumer confidence.
