fitfun, my friend, thanks for the compliment. I always try and post an honest (and accurate) assessment and dont intentionally down or upramp on that basis alone. Being able to see other"s faults is as important as being able to recognise your own. My wife bought CDM at 58 cents, so she is also a holder. My SMSF also topped up at about that price, but (unwisely) I had previously subscribed to prior SPPs, so my SMSF is still underwater with CDM. You should be well pleased with your LSF investment ! I hold in my own name and also my SMSF..... I believe I am up not quite 100% ! If there was one LIC I could without hesitation recommend to others, it would be LSF, and it would also be one of the very few shares, that I would be happy putting in the bottom drawer for 5 years, with no concerns that it would either disappear or not be more than when I put it there. Yes Karl and his team have some interesting hypothesis, and are ahead of the game in many areas, but then they go and find some way of stuffing up the results in some other way ! Frustrating.
