Probably just boredom. Someone needing the money to invest elsewhere ? CYA is much the same as WLS but without the previous ability to get into a float and see the increase in assets and NTA which WLE has enjoyed. CYA seems to be an “orphan” and its probably better that it be absorbed into WLE at the earliest.
I cant think of any particular reason for the sale.... another LIC hoping for something they didnt get ?
