We've seen good performance in the past, ???? The past was a long time ago and CDM has consistently failed to deliver with key staff changes and losses occurring for a reason. The CDMO was supposed to be a nimble long/short fund which is also failing to deliver the goods and seems to have been "folded" into CDM with commensurate results. There always seem to be excuses with the dividends being the only compensator for what appears to be a value trap.
I do wish they would talk their books a little more, ? You can talk your book if your performance is above average but unrecognized . Thats not the case for CDM
I worry the SP will take a massive tumble should CDM underdeliver on the dividend. There is obviously not much Capital appreciation for Karl to take home ! As the largest SH, he will make sure he gets a good dividend ! After all,. Karl and his fees seem to be the only thing to be gained form CDM ?
