Demand for BLA funds is very low post short seller, that and conflicting self interests is why they collapsed. Even if BLA agrees BAF can't sell the assets in most cases because there are other owners of the funds. An exit from: top level fund management/no more new investing may be possible.
A full windup can't be done at a good price in a short time for every fund.
