Funny you say that considering that's what I do for a living.
Unfortunately, most planners dont really provide investment advice... They just replicate in-house models and have no idea what they are doing. Its sad really and there needs to be a better understanding for everyone on different investment options... APLs are an issue... Can only recommend what you're allowed to and if you work for AMP, that's generally not gonna include Wilson stuff etc.
