Loyyal has been "about to become a huge business" for 3 different business names and about 5 years. You should read up on "Ribbit Rewards" and "Circuits of Value". They are a cryptocurrency FOMO play for dumb money, using more senior investors' money to build prototypes to attract new investment and do press releases. There's always a PR about something big just around the corner from them that somehow never quite happens.
Checking LinkedIn, they've bled out - they hardly have any actual employees. Most of the original group has moved on. So you've got some guys who are good at chatting up Japanese and Saudi investors but very little news.
