Yeah, pity about the Asian OEM though. Having said that they got their foot in the door and validated themselves to yet another OEM, so hopefully they're right about it leading to a future, larger contract. That's what happened with Ford and Ferrari. Interestingly the Asian OEM was for <500 wheels p/a only. That's roughly 100x cars a year. So it was likely a Nissan GT-R Final Edition/V-Spec III/Nur or similar type exclusive-run vehicle.
I believe the new SUV/off-road chat is about the upcoming Hummer EV range (they said existing OEM, which GM technically is with the unannounced Corvette program), as that will be in both SUV and pick-up guise.
Still waiting on this premium SUV, still thinking it is the new MY22 Range Rover SVR.
The large program to enter production this coming year with confirmed timing is obviously the Corvette Z06. Which should have numbers similar or slightly higher than the Mustang GT500 program. Can't wait for that announcement.
