Doug being ex Hologic has a great relationship with them. He managed to do a $4m usd leaseback agreement with them, to keep cash flow going at the lowest point for the company before the FDA approval for FebriDx.
He would also understand how Hologic operates, and where Lumos can add value to companies like Hologic by providing services while helping with Lumos' own bottom line.
