Yeah, it was like watching a bratty kid being forced to eat his dinner.
I understand he hates the advertising, public facing side of the business. But he needs to understand they have stepped away from rich families into the retail space.
I sincerely hope he watches the briefing and appreciates it wasn't a good look and definitely not inspiring from a shareholder perspective.
Having watched and listened to a number of these types of presentations from other fund managers - this was the least impressive thing I have witnessed.
It definitely feels as if VGI are still in denial about their move away from rich family coffers.
I was hoping to come away more confident - sadly, the more I hear and see Luciano - the less impressed I am. There is a level of arrogance that exudes from his mannerisms. That might seem very critical... but it's just the feeling I get.
Anyway, I am sure there are just as many people who will speak highly of Luciano. Just my opinion.
