just be aware time cuts both ways. you typically get capex and opex inflation that can offset the revenue lift/payback
one gold miner in NA just reported 5%+ cost inflation in past quarter
i would anticipate a net positive shift to payback unless capital item inflation really leaps dramatically however
it's one of the arguments some prefer royalty cos to actual miners - they get much of the uplift in metal value without exposure to the cost inflation
