Another interesting point MT made was that very few of the patients coming out of MEND had been on the top dose of 10mg for any length of time, which makes the results even more compelling. Patients rolling over into the compassionate use program were on 6mg because the previous board did not anticipate a trial extension and had not manufactured sufficient drug. Patients on the OLE study are now on 10mg.
As an aside, you could hear the frustration in the voices of some board and management re. the previous board.
