I remain hopeful that it is good news but not for a second do I subscribe to the view that a trading halt and preso mean there is only one "logical" outcome.

Frankly, PR and 'damage control' 101 would be to go into a halt to shore up the 'pitch' so that you wouldn't dump the news onto the market and let them rush for the exit. You'd basically try alleviate concerns and reassure investors, especially when it is a highly technical area of focus that many everyday investors don't get.

Could just as easily be positive news, though I wouldn't expect that to relate to progression to the next phase, more so a deal of some sort.

It really is a 50-50 I feel
