    I'd say they want to amend the deal in some way. maybe results aren't what they expected and will only proceed with reduced terms of milestone payments. maybe boehringer want to partner with another drug company to share the risk. could be many things. but I don't think it will be a total no go unless pharmaxis don't agree to the new terms
