There's no way they would go further into debt to fund the purchase. They are already in way too much - that's why it dropped to $3 a year or more ago. The purchase makes complete sense, they got it for a reasonable price, and they raised capital at the right time. If anything I think he should have raised extra to pay down some existing debt while the share price is artificially inflated by Dar. I don't think much of Andrew Wood and the way he's damaged the company in recent years, but at least he's got this one right.
