My father in law says I "cut my nose of to spite my face" as I refuse to buy bank stock and stocks like AGL because I HATE them and their profits. I'm first to acknowledge that our household uses a lot of electricity but using my last qtrly bill as a guide, my next bill after July 1 would go from $1700 to over $2200 for the quarter!! (We even have a 5.5Kw solar system) I'm really p^*$#d off with electricity prices at the moment. The RBA can jack rates up to 20% and it won't do squat to fix these high energy prices.
I'm sure this will be front & center in the news tonight as Aussies are getting ripped off with power prices compared to the rest of the world. I
