I'm first to acknowledge that our household uses a lot of electricity but using my last qtrly bill as a guide, my next bill after July 1 would go from $1700 to over $2200 for the quarter!! (We even have a 5.5Kw solar system)
I'm really p^*$#d off with electricity prices at the moment. The RBA can jack rates up to 20% and it won't do squat to fix these high energy prices.

I'm sure this will be front & center in the news tonight as Aussies are getting ripped off with power prices compared to the rest of the world.

I hear you, similar situation. Invested in rooftop solar and battery but still paying a small fortune to AGL...Only solution is to own shares in the SOB's and at least get some CG and dividends as they suck the blood from the Australian consumers corpses....
